Karate Exam

Last week mom had her P.T. exam. Forty full, to the floor, push-ups, sixty full sit-ups and running for twenty minutes. Mom passed that and today she has her Step Exam. When she passes this, she will be eligible to start testing for her Third Degree Black Belt. That will start next Saturday. (Mom's gotta be at the karate studio for 8:15 am for the push ups, sit ups and running, and then 45 minutes of class and tests.)

It is time for PlusOne to come home. Mom laughed and said "Next Tuesday!"

PlusOne is in the yellow and white striped shirt with the (silly) hat. They were in Florence when the photo was taken. Apparently the streets are very narrow there. Today PlusOne is in Paris. He will be staying with a French family until Sunday. Mom has been to France, she said the food there was divine. I'm jealous.

A Sign

Mom did not plant this sunflower. It popped up, growing before mom had even planted her new batch of sunflower seeds. Mom took it as a sign from our Sunflower Sisters & Fire Hydrant Brothers, telling us that while they may not be with us in body, they are with us in spirit and they are not in pain any more. They don't want us to cry but to live and to remember them with joy and smiles.

Tattle Tale Tuesday

Lucky here ~ Yes, that is my silly sister doing the table dance because she can't get off the table. Never mind that the chairs are right there, she just won't climb down. Silly Roxy!

Monday So Soon?

Mom is really not ready for it to be Monday. I can honestly say I am not looking forward to it either. I like sitting next to her on the sofa.

PlusOne goes to Florence today. He also gets to walk through the "Gates of Paradise". Then he travels to Pisa to see the Leaning Tower. I hope he doesn't fall off.

Easy Like Sunday Morning & Pizza

Yes, Lucky is back. It's not so bad, really. It felt weird without her. And if mom and dad had left for work and left me alone, that would be no fun.

It's been nice here, low 80's and LOW humidity (woo hoo), We are really liking that!

As for PlusOne, he had AUTHENTIC Italian pizza last night and he said it was AWESOME! Today he is in Assisi, having an experience with Full On, which will be overcoming fears, building confidence and strengthening personal development. Then he gets to rappel over a castle wall.
