The incredible life of me, Roxy Dragon Pebbles, otherwise known as The Devil Dog and my new sister, Juliet, and my new brother, Loopy. I have no idea what I did to deserve that name! Honest! Just because I'm a black dog doesn't mean I'm naughty dog.

Tattle Tale Tuesday
Today's Tattle Tale Tuesday will be a shock to all of you, so I want you all to take a deep breath and sit down before I tell you my tale. It is with deepest regret that I tell you the following.... Mom is NOT perfect. (No comments from you, Auntie!) Mom is not always great either, as the following picture will testify.
Mom had trouble judging how deep to put the outlets when she re-sheet rocked the walls. Consequently, when mom put the outlet covers on, the outlets were a little further recessed than mom wanted. Oh, electrically everything is fine. It's just that mom is mad that she tried so very hard to get it done well, and it isn't.

And that's not even the end of it. See these photos? Do you think mom could give me a moment's peace for my ahem "necessities"? Nope! Not my mom. Oh, sure she covered up my spot thirteen, but come on, mom. As Monty would say, "Have you no shame, woman?"

This is the lamp that she had to buy Auntie because mom BROKE Auntie's. Mom flipped it over to look at it, to see if she could help Auntie with it, and she snapped it right in half! Oops! So mom replaced it with this one. Auntie likes it. (phew)

Easy Like Sunday Morning - NOT
Mom did let me snuggle with her yesterday morning. She said it was hard taking this picture. I don't know why she needed a photo. I was comfy.
Mom bought a frame for her poster and now has it ready to hang. If she can decide where she wants it. She also bought two other posters which she will show you later.Mr. Karate thinks the sewing desk should be blue and white or something like that. He thinks the chair should be white. Mom's not sure if it should be solid white or blue and white. She has to think about it. I know just the position she can use when she thinks about it.

The Rug And The Stool
Mom works in a furniture store. This counter stool was returned because it was damaged. It has a broken rung (look down). Because it had a broken rung, mom's boss said mom could take it home if she wanted. She wanted.

This is the rug. It is 8' x 11'. This was a customer return.
It was returned because the edge is unravelling. It is maybe an inch worth of unravelling.

Mom didn't do any work on the back porch tonight because mom went and saw Quantum of Solace. It was really good. Mom really enjoyed it. Funny thing, though. It was really violent and rated PG-13. I guess it was because there was no foul language. Brief nudity, but no foul language. Sure, it's okay for 13 year olds. Riiiiiight.

Friday!
Mom's been painting. She loves blue painter's tape. Especially when doing ceiling molding while standing on a ladder crouched over the top of the bookcase. ha ha

See, I told you she wasn't painting the drawers BLUE!

But she did finish the floor! Now she can move everything into place!
And mom is reading a new book. The Immortal Prince, The Tide Lords Book One, by Jennifer Fallon. She is almost done. Review next week!
