NEVER EVER EVER

go grocery shopping with a HUNGRY, THIRSTY almost sixteen year old. Seventy five dollars later and half the food is already gone. lol (This is PlusOne with his aunt who lives in France.)

It Was SO Cold Yesterday

That mom had to drag me from under the covers to eat breakfast. I know I love food, but I love being warm MORE! And it was so nice and cozy under the blankets mom could have left me there ALL day, but she DIDN'T. Sigh. Hey Lucky, is there any warmer weather in our future?

NO Sympathy For Mom

Mom is going back to work today after having been off since the 21st of December. I know all of you will agree with me that she deserves NO sympathy for this. (Actually, I think she was ready to go back because she's been talking a lot and doing STUFF.) The vacation was good for her. On her first day of vacation, she had to go to the doctor. Her blood pressure was 107 over 70. A little high for her (good for the rest of the planet). She went to the doctor on New Year's Eve and her blood pressure was 98 over 68. I think she needed a vacation, what do you think?

But anyway, no sympathy for her, but think of ME! I have to get up around 6:00 am see her off to work and then have no good place to sleep (unless I break through the barricade (which I have been doing every time mom leaves me) and sleep on the back of the sofa like I normally do when mom is home.)

All those late mornings in bed, nice and warm, getting all that attention, GONE because mom had to go back to work. YUK!

Here is PlusOne with his favorite Christmas gift. A 39" polypropylene bokken. A bokken is a traditional Japanese wooden practice sword. PlusOne was showing off here for mom.

Here he is trying to get me interested in it. Lucky couldn't care less. As for me, unless it can conjure broccoli or green beans, I am not interested either. Does that make me a bad pug??? lol

Snowy Sunday

More snow. UGH. Something tells me it's going to be that kind of winter. Sigh. Well, it's good that PlusOne is so big and strong, that way HE can do all the shoveling, or snow blowing and mom can stay inside and cuddle with Lucky and me!
