Mom's Been Busy

Mom's been busy staking up the raspberry and the rest of the boysenberry bushes. She has about 6 more to go and then she will be done. But of course the last six are really thick stems, so she will need the bigger stakes.

Lucky and I joined mom outside so she wouldn't feel lonely.

It was supposed to rain all day, but it didn't. Mom said it was close to 80 degrees in the shade in the early afternoon. After that it cooled down and got really cloudy. Still no rain though.

Mom's neighbor, who has grown broccoli, says mom's broccoli needs more time in the sun, so she put the plants on the back porch. He also helped her roto-til the area for the garden and the sunflowers. Woo Hoo. It's great to have such fantastic neighbors.

Nothing beats a bonus sunny day, especially when you get to garden. Mom and Dad put broccoli in the ground this weekend,I can't wait til it grows!

It rained here all weekend. No sunbathing for me. :(
It's good that your neighbor is a broccoli expert so that your mom can learn how to grow super tasty broccoli for you.
