Sherlock is back!!!! Woo Hoo!!!

Episode one 'The Empty Hearse' will air on January 1 and BBC One have also confirmed that episode 2 will air on Sunday January 5 and episode 3 on Sunday January 12. Of course, that's the date it is showing in England. When it comes to the US is another matter. But at least it's coming!!!

Fabulous Black Friday

 

Why is it a fabulous Black Friday, you ask. Several reasons. First, mom made memere's famous meat stuffing yesterday. She didn't understand why Lucky and I sat at her feet while she cooked looking just like this!

I mean, it had pork and veal and beef and smelled really, really good. Why wouldn't we sit there at her feet waiting for a taste? Which we never got, but I am hoping today will be better.

The other reason it's a Fabulous Black Friday is because mom didn't have to go to work today. In fact, she didn't have to go ANYWHERE, so she's staying home to sew and relax. Can't beat that with a stick, now, can you? Well, maybe if I got some stuffing...

Happy Thanksgiving

Lucky, Mom, Dad, PlusOne and I would like to wish everyone a Happy (and safe) Thanksgiving. I know I have a lot to be thankful for. If everyone were as loved as I was, well, let's just say there probably wouldn't be any fighting anywhere.

And to everyone who doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving today, Dad say Happy Thursday! lol

Yes, that is my sister, hiding her head under the new lap robe Sunday when it was so cold and windy out. She talks the tough talk but when push comes to shove, Roxy's a wuss with a capital W! lol ~ Lucky

SNOW!!!

Remember when I told you the snow wasn't supposed to stick? Well, I LIED. And not only that, it was 23 degrees with a wind chill factor that brought the temperature down to 9 degrees. And that was late in the afternoon! Even when we went to bed the wind was howling and blowing like a banshee. You better believe that I was under the covers trying to stay warm, ALL DAY LONG. As far as I'm concerned, it's time to hibernate!

Mom Is Feeling MUCH Better

Mom is feeling MUCH better, thank you all very much for your concern. The Dizziness left her and she was fine, but maybe just a little tired. She's trying to get rid of her cold for good, and rest is always good for that.

In other news, Lucky and I are preparing for winter. It was spitting snow last night. Nothing that would stick, but still, SNOW and it's not even Thanksgiving yet. I wonder if I would like living down south?

Mom Is Dizzy

Yeah, yeah, I know what you're thinking, ha ha, mom is dizzy. But seriously, the reason Lucky looks so worried is that mom is REALLY DIZZY! She came home from work yesterday and she said she felt like there was a lovely breeze in her head. Lucky, Dad, PlusOne and I may be bringing her to a doctor today if it doesn't get better.

Mom Goes Back To Work

Mom went back to work. I think she is feeling better. I mean, after all, two days being snuggled by pugs can fix just about anything. I just hope it was enough to fix her cold.

Keeping Mom Still

Yesterday was a nice quiet day for Lucky and me. Mom slept VERY late, skipped karate and parked her sick self on the sofa with Lucky, me and the new lap robe. It was the most perfect of days. Except for mom being sick.

Mom Is Sick

What with all the wild temperature changes we've been having lately, it's no surprise mom is sick. In fact she was thinking she might not go to karate today. Mom has to feel really terrible to not want to go to karate. After all, she's gone with a broken pinkie toe, a smashed pinkie toe, a knee recovering from surgery, a back full of knots and a hurt shoulder. I can't believe she is letting a little cold and sore throat stop her. lol

Being Nice

You know, if I weren't a nice sister, I would pounce on Lucky, sort of like a tiger. But I am nice. So I won't. Darn!

Truthful Thursday

While we have had sun lately, it has also been COLD. Mom was wondering what was wrong with her that she was so cold yesterday, but I think that it has been such a nice, mild fall that when the cold weather arrived, no one was prepared for it. I sure am glad mom made a lap robe big enough for the family! And that I have a sister to keep me warm.

Easy Like Sunday Morning

Can it get any better than this? Seriously, I don't think so. Unless my boy was sitting next to me. Then it would be perfect Absolutely perfect.

Forgetful Mom

Mom forgot her lunch last Friday, her breakfast smoothie Tuesday morning, and her water yesterday. I am afraid of leaving her alone in case she forgets something really important, like ME! I better hang around until he gets herself straightened out. Who knows how much trouble she get into without me to keep her safe.

Thinking Of Taking A Trip

I am thinking of taking a small jaunt across the country so mom will miss me terribly and realize that she needs to do a better job of taking care of me. I think I shall head south and see who I can find. Hopefully it will be warm down south. It could be warm at my house if mom would cover me with the blanket, but you know how she gets!

Why

Why is it that Lucky gets covered up with the blanket, but I don't? Maybe because PlusOne loves Lucky so much he won't let her be even slightly chilled. As for me, mom couldn't care less. I think I need to see how the other pugs live. Maybe mom needs to be taught a lesson. Anyone up for a visit?

Colder Weather

It was a lot colder than it has been yesterday. Thank goodness mom has a new family lap robe to keep us all warm. Now if only she would COVER me with it instead of just herself, I would be all set. Sheesh. Moms!

Laundry

I think there is almost nothing better than clean, warm laundry. To snuggle in, to toss around, to roll around in. Have I forgotten anything?

The New Bed

I think it's comfy. Almost as comfy as snuggling next to mom. Almost.

Bed Shopping

Mom needs to buy us a new dog bed. The other one is dirty and old. Lucky and I abandoned it in favor of the sofa. And the new lap robe, except mom was hogging it. Gee mom, don't you know the meaning of the word SHARE!
