Mom Has Hor Water, YEAH!

Here is the fancy shmancy hot water heater that got installed Tuesday.There is all sorts of different things on this new heater that weren't there on the old one. That funny tank at the upper right, the two valves on top...

and the flood monitor sensor (that little thing on the floor) that will shut off the hot water heater if it senses water. NICE. 

But seriously, all mom really cares about is she FINALLY got a hot shower. lol

Tattle Tale Tuesday

Mom is grumpy because there is no hot water in the house. And she hasn't been able to take a HOT shower for TWO days. The plumbing man is coming to (hopefully) replace the hot water heater today and then mom says she wants a loooooong hot shower, or maybe a bath. 

She also says she can't really complain, as it's 16 or 17 years old, and they are supposed to last for 10 years. It's just NOT what mom was planning on doing today, or any time in the near future.

Still, if she's home from work you KNOW that I plan on getting snuggles in.

Monday Snuggles

I got my cuddling in yesterday, while Lucky looked on in jealousy. But don't worry, she joined us very soon after this photo was snapped. 

Mom went back to work today while PlusOne stayed home for school vacation. More snuggling! Awesome!!!

Sleeping As Long As Possible

Otherwise known as easy like Sunday morning.

Mom, Dad and PlusOne are off to a baby shower today. After they all catch up on their sleep, that is.

Waiting For Mom

I am impatiently waiting for Mom. After all, I need my mom snuggle time.

I Am NOT Happy

Mom is not coming home tonight. Or rather, she's coming home and then she's leaving at 10:00 pm and not coming back til tomorrow morning at 7:00am. 

Tonight is PlusOne's "Lock In" where everyone in the music department gets locked into the school overnight. For PlusOne, it will be lots of fun. For mom, chaperoning, maybe not so much. 

For me, DEFINITELY not fun. I will MISS sleeping with mom. I know, I know, there's still Dad, but mom stays in bed longer. lol

Well, I will console myself with the fact that she'll be in bed VERY early tomorrow night.

Too Funny Thursday

Mom's boss brought her an article about a Denver, Co man who took his computer into the alley and shot it eight times because he was unsuccessful in getting it to work correctly. He also got arrested for discharging a firearm in city limits.

The boss told mom he'd have done the same if he had a gun, or he didn't have mom to go over and fix it when he couldn't figure it out on his own. (which is often, very often.)

My sister, the infamous Roxy, has been knocking garbage cans over left and right this past week. I don't know if it's because she feels like being a bad ass, or because she just wants to be bad. As long as she doesn't run away, I'm okay with it. Mom, on the other hand, is a different story. Oh, and don't let that little Miss Innocence look fool you. Roxy's a Devil Dog in EVERY way! ~ Lucky

April Showers

Well they say April showers being May flowers. Here's hoping we really do get flowers after this rain. Of course, I'd just as soon send this rain to California. They need it more than we do.

Easy Like Sunday Morning

Yup, that's us, the boring ones. Sleep, wake up, eat, sit in the sun, sleep, wake up, eat, go to bed. lol

Well, at least it's sunny and nice.

Yard Work

Now that it's warmer, sunnier and all around nicer out, mom is starting on some yard work. That means Lucky and I get some fabulous sun time in. Mmmmm, nice!

More than The Avengers Age of Ultron, more than Ant Man, or Spectre or the new Terminator, Mom wants to see THIS!!!!

She CAN'T WAIT!! It is going to be AWESOME! (she hopes)

Thankful Thursday

We here in NH are all very thankful that the weather has been so nice and the sun has been shining so brightly and the temperature is so nice and above freezing. 65 degrees is lovely (for April) and we will take it thank you very much. Enjoy your day and hope it's as nice as ours.

The Five Year Plan

So, mom had to go to the doctor yesterday. She had this test where she couldn't eat anything after Sunday morning and she had to drink lots and lots of really yukky stuff and then the doctor checked her out (don't ask). And when Pepere drove her home (cuz they sedated her and they didn't want her to drive cuz she was LOOPY as all get out) she immediately ate everything she could get her hands on. (Not really, but it seemed like it) 

She was really, really happy because they told her they found NO polyps and she didn't have to go back for FIVE years. 

Then she told dad to get rid of the yukky yellow green gatorade and all the lemonade vitamin water and if she never saw it again it would be too soon!

Boy, moms sure are WEIRD!

Spring Has SPRUNG!!!

Woo Hoo! I am PSYCHED about the temperatures we are supposed to have this week. About time!

Yeah, the rain Tuesday is a bummer, but it's going to be above 60 degrees. I can live with that.

Lucky and I are chilling while Mom, Dad and PlusOne are going to the NHIA Open House for new students. It's totally unbelievable that PlusOne is going to college in September.

Dad thinks it's very funny how stressed Lucky is. In fact, he thinks he's never seen a dog as tense as she is. lol

He also thinks it's very funny that I don't like getting wet and how I hide under the chair when he takes me out in inclement weather. Just because he likes being naked in water doesn't mean I do.

Table Dancing... Again

As if Roxy couldn't get into enough trouble, she's table dancing again. It wouldn't be so bad, if she knew how to get down. Instead she has to wait for Mom or Dad to get her off the table. Silly sister of mine. Don't get into trouble if you can't get out of it. ~ Lucky

Mom loves beautifully decorated Easter Eggs. Whenever she tried making them, they didn't come out very pretty at all.
