TattleTale Tuesday

Mom got some awesome gifts for Christmas. The rotary cutter and seam ripper (Gingher) came from one of mom's karate students. She thinks mom is pretty special. Mom thinks she is pretty special as well. The rotary cutter has a wonderful heft to it and is perfectly balanced. It cuts very nicely.

The other awesome gift mom got was this box made by Mr. Karate's girlfriend. The black fish represents me, the uppermost fawn fish represents Lucky (going counterclockwise, as usual) and the bottom fish (with the blue eyes) represents PlusOne. Mom squealed when she opened it. It really is beautiful, and mom loves it.

Mom spent most of yesterday in bed with me. She didn't get out of bed until after 1:00 pm. Of course, since she spent a good portion of the early am hours in the bathroom, and didn't fall asleep until 6:30 am, I can't blame her. When she wasn't in bed, she was on the sofa, which was almost as good. As much as I enjoyed it, I hope mom feels better real soon.

What lovely thoughtful presents. We hope your mom feels soon. It is horrible being sick on your break from work.
