Wanted: One Siamese Cat

Mom needs help. This is mom's best friend (other than Auntie). They have known each other since college Freshman Orientation back in 1980. We will call her "Blondie".

Blondie called mom up this morning and said that her Siamese cat went to the Bridge and Blondie needed another cat. The family was missing her and the cat's sister was missing her. She said the sister was crying and crying and crying. Could mom possible help her find a Siamese cat.

Mom immediately told her to check the pound and also to look up for any Siamese Rescue Websites. Blondie lives in New Hampster with mom. Does anyone know some place that Blondie can go to get another Siamese cat? Blondie wouldn't mind rescuing one at all, she figured you wouldn't find a Meezer cat just anywhere. And since mom knows more about pugs than Meezers, mom has decided to go to the source and ask you for help. Got any ideas?

So sorry to hear that your mom's friend's Meezer went to the Bridge. :( The one-who-came-before, Whiskers (who was a Meezer) will greet her there.

Definitely check out the Siamese Rescue! They will often help with transport of a cat to the right home. Here are some links:

Here you can see which rescues will transport nationwide:
Individual Siamese Rescues

We found one cat available in New Hamster by clicking on the Siamese Cat Rescue Centre (for the East Coast) and then choosing New Hampshire from the drop-down. It looks like there are Siamese in need of homes in nearby states as well.

Good luck! We hope Blondie finds the perfect Meezer for her!

Don't tell Yao-Lin, or he might try to mail Baby Mao over!

I hope she finds a new furrend soon.

(Hug) Sorry...I don't know anything about siamese cats either. Just pugs. Why not suggest a pug? :)

Siamese Rescue and cat shelters are a good place to look. I wish I knew some organizations that are local to her. I am sorry that Blondie's cat went to the Bridge, but it is very wonderful that she can rescue a needy and deserving kitty!

Ooh..I love cats. I mean, Mommy loves cats.

Siamese cats are very pretty. I don't know of a place to find a siamese cat other than to search for a rescue or breed organization. If she doesn't mind what kind of cat she gets, she can always search the paper and Petsmart is always hosting cat adoption days.

Anyway, to answer your question, I do like broccoli. I love everything!

We are so far out in the PNW we can't be of much help other than to echo what Merlin has said. Also, you can try Pet Finder online. Lots of shelters use them for adopting out pets and so sometimes you will Siamese or Siamese mixes.

Good luck. We are so wonderful, aren't we?

Believe it or not, there was a feral siamese cat at a local farm who produced some beautiful kittens. One of them is still quite young, but, they're in western NY. It's about a 7-8 hour drive one way. But the kitten is free if anyone wants it in about a month.

PetSmart is a good resource as there are sometimes Meezers who need adoptin' ... But I agree with Dragonheart 'bout the Siamese Rescue. Perhaps lookin' at an animal shelter, too!?

Oh poor Blondie. I sure hope she finds another Siamese cat. It looks good from what I read from your cat friends. I'll be sending Blondie love and comfort. Your Mom
