Flashback Friday

We are flashing back to days gone by, when we were all younger, but just as cute.

Here is Lucky, proving that she will, indeed, sleep in any position.

Here I am, exploring the backyard. Aren't I cute?

And here is mom. A looooooooooooooong time ago. This photo was taken at Pine Knoll Campground. Mom does not know why she was sitting on a rock pouting, but there you have it. Mom circa 1966? 1967? With her hated red corrective shoes. Sigh.

Ohok - my husband's step dad was on the Ike during the 80's and some of the 90's - was your husband active duty before that? I just remember he had to do a lot of Mediterranean cruises as well...

You two and PlusOne were so very cute in those pictures..and mom's not pouting...she's "emoting". Girls do that.

PS-It's safe to come out from under the covers, now.

You don't know why you were pouting?! You were outside at a campground, with lots of room to run and play, and you had to wear red corrective shoes? Got any idea now?

Roxy, you are adorable on that rock. No doubt you got up there by yourself and couldn't figure out how to get down. :)

You're both adorable - and that picture of your mom rules! :)

Maybe she was pouting because she wanted a Pug-Dog! She ... now she has you!

Your momma looked a whole lot like mine when she was a little girl. She had to wear corrective shoes, too ... Brand new and of stiff leather and ON THE WRONG FEET, too ... It's a good thing. Mom has terrific posture and doesn't walk like a duck either.

Those sixties and seventies photos sure have washed out colors, don'tcha think?
