Slightly Less Scratchy

Well, Mom's poison sumac or poison ivy is getting better. SLOWLY. Very slowly. Mom was concerned when they gave her a stronger dosage of steroids Friday. She was afraid she would get too grumpy and be too aggressive at karate Friday and Saturday. She was neither grumpy nor aggressive. So that made her feel better. She has gone through 2 brand new things of Band Aid Anti Itch. She needs to buy some more. She also has been taking lots of Benadryl to help with the itching. She did not sleep well Saturday night, finally falling asleep at 2:35 am. So this is what you call an update and a filler, cuz mom's falling asleep as she types this.

I have been EXCEPTIONALLY good the past three days. Even Miss Patty mentioned it when we went to see her at her yard sale. Mom says that I know better. Trust me, I do. Only a couple more days to go. Then I can cut loose! Woo Hoo!

Oh Roxy,I'm glad your Mom is less itchy. Mom says don't worry about the steroids. They are not the bad ones like some men take. They are different but might make her hungry.
You have been good for 3 whole days!!! Holding all that natural naughtyness inside must be hard.I hope you don't explode!

I am glad you and Lucky have been on your best behavior! Because your mom would not want you to be bad when she is so itchy and sleepy and on medicines.

Hi Roxy and Lucky...We are glad that your Mom's poison ivy is starting to feel better.

Our Mom got poison ivy a few months ago all over her arm and she had the nerve to blame us. She said that we much have ran through the ivy somewhere and then rubbed up against her arm afterward. We think she's crazy.

Hope your Mom can now get some sleep.

Love, Seadra and Zoe
